Necchi Alco zz

Thanks all for the replies. I knew it wasn't a true Necchi when I brought it home, so my heart didn't pitterpat.
But I have two Supernovas to play with anyway. Pudge, if you ever get to KS, I'll give it to you.

Evidently Nelco (Leon Jolson) and Allyn (Al Rose) used the same Asian manufacturer for at least some of the machines they imported. Since I found that Nelco may have been behind some Penney's machines, I thought I would look for the other thread about a Penncrest and found http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine...ion_Manual.htm The nose plate is different but the rest of the machine sure looks like Leon's Alco.
Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

mIne has a B on it, but I doubt it is different. If you have specific questions I could look them up for you.
Welcome to the board.
