Talking Need a front plate to cover vibrating shuttle on a 1948 Singer 128.

Any ideas on where to find one? They aren't made any more, so I need a replacement from a parts machine. sew-classic doesn't have anymore. If anyone could head me to the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Besides just an internet search or possibly Ebay, you might try Mizkaki (Cathy). http://www.quiltingboard.com/members...ki-u62030.html

If I understand correctly, she has a lot of vintage machine parts. Good luck!

Also, Sew-Classic.com has many of these slide plates, and she is very knowledgeable. She helped me with an older spring issue...we never did find the right spring, but she helped me figure out why the one I bought didn't fit my machine. She has lots of information on her website about vintage machines.

Thanks everyone for your input. I found one on sewing parts online.com.
