Default Need help with 66-1 cabinet

Yet another lesson in not buying auctions I haven't previewed, lol.

I've always wanted one of these cabinets, and we can fix anything wrong with an old Singer, right? Well, I can't figure out why it won't fold into the cabinet! Anyone have instructions or a video showing how these work?

Can't get photos to upload, so I'm doing it Reddit-style with Imjur links.

Close the top doors.
Push button on right side as indicated with arrow and hold in.
You may have to pull head up slightly.
Push head down until clicks in place.

I just tried mine and sometimes it just worked with pushing down and sometimes had to lift slightly.

Can you take a picture of what's inside yours? Mine doesn't move at all. I'm wondering if something was removed.

Going to get the lube spray with the long nozzle to see if it just needs sone oil.

It looks like it is all there. I was wrong about having to push the button. I watched part of each of these videos.

Then I went down and tried just pushing down and it worked. The button is inside and can't be seen from the right side and the door covers where it would be, but I felt inside and there is just solid wood. I tried it again after looking at where the button was and it wouldn't go down. I had opened the upper doors and thought they were closed. I opened them and I pulled a bit and there was a click that indicated they were completely closed. When tried again to push the head down, it went right down.

Yeah. I see you took the doors off. Have you tried with the doors on?

I haven't tried it with the doors on yet, as I have to put them all back on, and I want to
re-glue any of the veneer that's loose, first.

Here's a link to a picture of it in the down position.
