    I think you don't have all the numbers you need to determine the exact age but it looks like it was made in the late 40s or early 50s, very ballpark there. I wouldn't pay any more than $50 unless the cabinet was very very nice, and assuming it's in working order.

    If you are in the USA, you might want to consider the 158, replaceable cam Kenmores from the late '60's till the late '70's. I have a low shank 158.17570 (aka Model 1757) and it is a stronger sewer than my Singers 401A/500 for really heavy fabric as well as thin fabric. There are other similar Kenmore models from this era as well. Good luck!
