Default Need help finding the value of a 1954 singer 99k with cabinet please..

I have inherited a 1954 singer 99k in cabinet, it even has the original oil can with it.. Does anyone know what this machine may be worth? Any help would be appreciated.. I have pictures but can't figure out how to post them from my phone..

You'd probably be lucky to get $50 for it. Personally, I wouldn't spend more than $20 or $30. Hope this helps.

I guess that shows how much I know about sewing machines,lol.. I thought it would be worth alot more than that. Its a nice machine though, maybe I should think about learning how to use it and make some quilts, lol.

I have a sweet one I paid 20 for. From a thrift store. I love it. Keep it and sew on it. You'll love it.

    Hello Jimmy,

Go to Youtube and find the video called Singer 99K Sewing Machine posted by a lad in Australia on the Shangas channel. It is all about his grandmother' s sewing machine, which he has done up. I often hear from him through Youtube. He has been totally gripped by sewing machines, he loves them - he even bought one when he was in England on a visit and is having it shipped back to Australia. Next he wants to learn to sew.

Keep the sewing machine. You might find it is worth more to you than the money you could raise from selling it.
