Need Help Identifying Machines
I purchased 12 vintage/antique machines tonight and I need help identifying them, here are the Singers, I picked up a couple of Whites, Ambassador and 2 New Homes also, will post them tomorrow. As you can see by the pics I have some work ahead of me but thats part of the fun as I found out through Charlee. Thanks Laura

1, 2, and 3 are all Singer 66's, Redeyes.
4/5 is a VS2 (Vibrating Shuttle #2) which is pretty much an early 27.
Dunno what #6 is.
7 and 8 are both 66's, 7 is a Redeye, 8 is a Lotus
I can't tell you much about the White...
#10 is a model 27 with Pheasant decals, those were made between 1890 and 1915.
Now you have to share details about how you came by ALL of these at once!! I should also probably mention that I'm a tad bit jealous...especially over the VS2...

A woman on Craigslist restores sewing machines, her youngest son is graduating in June and then going in the Army so she decided to sell all of her machines, she had a W9 for $25 that I wanted as parts for my machine, when I was telling my neighbor about the machine he wanted to go with and look at the machines, he decided I need a hobby so we purchased them, I have a beautiful treadle waiting for me to pick up (ran out of room in the truck), I will continue to post pics of the other machines and when I get them cleaned up. Thank you again Charlee for your expertise.
