Condolences Bill, Looks like the group mentioned everything I would tend to say. I would just reinforce using local resources like local quilting and sewing groups and to not deal with shipping of any machine.

What are your goals/intents?
To sell (make as much money) as possible from your wife's sewing stuff?
To find homes (donate) the stuff to friends or organizations you deem worthy?
To just "get it gone" ?
Sort through and keep what you (or other members of your family) might want/need/use?
If there is no rush - you might even learn to do some sewing/quilting yourself.

Condolences, Bill.
I live in Corpus, but am a novice. I've had the same Bernina 830 for 40 years. I am interested in updating, but unfamiliar with the market. Private message me if you decide to sell.
