    Can anyone tell me the needle size of New England Queen by National? Thankee..

    It is a vibrating shuttle leaf tension beastie.

    It looks like that quite possibly there were two New England Queen badges. The National one was a rotary. The A G Mason one was the long shuttle. I sure wish Needlebar still had their image gallery. ISMACS has a needle list that lists the Mason as a "New England (Queen)" and would use the 20x1 as Jon stated in the link above. As you probably know, a 15x1 can be used if dropped a bit. Joe Miller did a hack by cutting a flat magnet (like fidge advertising magnets) to the correct length and inserted, so could use a 15x1 without too much trouble.

    Mine is quite different. Different casting and stitch length slide is parallel to the base/ Pics later/

    Tried a 15 in it today with a National shuttle and bobbine. Got stitches, but extra noises and it isn't pretty.
