You now have the 3rd black 319W I have seen! Baren*eh*ked_canadian has one and I can not remember who has the other one on the board.... but I have been looking for the black version for a while now. I had a real nice 319W (tan I think) that I bought and never got to see because my niece and her MIL went to pick it up for me in AL. Her MIL saw it and said that she had one that she received brand new as a wedding gift and lost it to a house fire a few years later. So I told her MIL to keep the machine as a belated wedding gift!
But this machine is the closest thing you will come to having an industrial machine for domestic use. Singers engineers melded the to together and came up with this machine! You can not beat what all this machine is capable of doing and it is built for some serious sewing.
But like I said the Black ones are REALLY hard to come by, so take good care of it and love the little rascal liek it was one of your own!!

Go to the Needlebar and join the site. A lot of good information about vintage machines there and the leading Singer expert Chrys Gunther is on there. She can tell you anything you need to know about the machine. She has a lot of the lost records that Singer does not have anymore.
