Oh, My. What a lovely machine. I would never have been able to pass it up the first time around especially since it was an original handcrank. I am still looking for one of these and hope to find one in as nice a condition as yours. Enjoy!!!!!

Pretty machine. Does anyone know a pattern to make the little crocheted thread pad thing? I think they add a touch to the machines that the red felt pads don't.

Thank you all for your kind comments....yeah, I think I scored on this one...and my bank account it going "ouch" after the treadle purchase and then this one, but it is certainly my pleasure to own them now and I will actually do some sewing on them.

What a downright gorgeous machine!!! I can see why you could not pass it up. Did you make the spool pin doily for your machine or did it come with that? They look so right on these old machines.

Here is one link from Bonnie Hunter for a spool pin doily minibarn:

I need to make some of these for my older machines too.

You should have it as your the one who sews, and then if you ever don't use it your BIL could get it for decoration.

KLO...those doily spool pin covers came with the machines. Thanks for the link...I don't do the chrocheting thing much but others will be pleased to see the link.
