I can't wait to see it. It sounds beautiful. I hope all goes well with the house too. Keep us posted.

If you look back on the posts here there should be some I added earlier this morning, but just in case here are a few more.
    Enjoy,
    Faith

Decals look great to me but I am no expert. Need to get up the nerve to start cleaning it.

I am not a garage sale person, but I think I will start. Some of you ladies are finding such great bargins. I am jealous of the machine. (LOL)

Good for you Faith! I have a beautiful little Singer 99 that I got for $20 from a friend who goes to auctions & yard sales, etc. Like yours the machine & cabinet are in tiptop condition & it sews beautifully too! :)

Oh how lucky you were to find that. If I am not mistaken that is the machine that sews like a dream. Congratulations on a great find. Never can tell what will turn up at those sales.

Yes, I would like to know as well. I have an old one that was found at an auction. $50.00. It is not a treadle though. The cabinet needs a little repair.

You could ask Lostn51 (Billy) he knows a lot of Singer sewingmachines. He found out everything about mine!
I heard of him through a friend this weekend. Very knowledgible from what I hear. Is he on this board?

If you go to the front page, there's a virtual section for vintage machines that Billy is in charge of... :) Yep...he's on the board!

That's a beautiful machine! :) Tell me tho, what you mean by the "wooden thingie" that you need for the treadle? You have me confused with that one....you don't mean the pitman arm, do you?
