I'll look and see if I have one that I can take a picture of. The 'blooming' is a very faint and splotchy.
    Sometimes it's hard to see.

I wonder if what you're mentioning is what I've always thought was oily finger prints... They never seem as bad though after I finish with a machine (beside the oily finger print I seem to always have to put on the front of a machine right as I finish. *sigh*

    Tammi,

It could look like that. However the 'bloom' is more or less permanent. I have seen the bloom made slightly less by polishing it out. (Think automotive compound.)

When I used magic marker in my classroom, fingernail polish remover or hairspray would take it off easily, but I would sure test it somewhere so it doesn't ruin the finish on the machine.

Absolutely gorgeous and since I am in the same boat as you I have no answer about purchasing more machines. I have decided that I simply cannot buy another machine but if I found one like this, I would jump at the chance to purchase again.

What a steal. I've been looking for one of the Husqvarna Vikings 19 -21 models and would have paid much more for one in that condition with a nice case. If you had passed it up, I would have told you to give your head a shake!
PS. NO hints on how to restrain yourself...if you figure it out, let ME know!
