Congratulations on your FW! That's terriffic! My son bought mine at the local Goodwill Store, complete with bobbin case and foot pedal. No attachments and no case, but she sure sews beautifully. She was manufactured in 1954, and is in pristine condition! He paid $50.00 which I think is a good price.
You got a great deal! And your FW is beautiful!

Wonderful find and welcome to the club! There are several websites that sell 221 parts. I have used www.221parts.com and had good luck. Just type in 221 parts and see what you can find. I have also seen people sell parts on ebay.
There is also a featherweight yahoo group, moderated by a gentleman from England that sells featherweights. It is very interesting.

my featyerweight
while at the local quilt store while in lake havasu arizona last winter the store owner had a featherweight for sale. $295. case and just serviced. i asked if it was a featherweight as i'd never seen a tan one before. she assured me it was. being the skeptic i am i headed home to do some research. went back several weeks later and noticed it proudly displayed with a new price $200 more. i asked her about the new price and she said she to had done some research and realized she had under priced it but since she offered it to me at the other price she would honor her offer. needless to say i grabbed it this time. SANDI is a 1961 beauty and i love her
