must have been a treadle, and she is still strapped to it trying to drag it up the front steps.

Stumbled on this thread. Thought, "Oh good, it's old enough the pictures will be posted." Not so, the suspense builds.

She is here! I have done some research on her and this is what I do know so far. If she were a motorcycle, she would be called a "basket case". She is very dirty, rusty, and missing a few parts that I could see right off. According to ISMACS, she is a model 127, made on 10/26/1926, is one of 20,000 made, and her condition would be rated a 4.
I am not ready to take on a repair and recondition of this magnitude so I will probably try to find someone interested in doing a recondition, or possibly someone who wants her for parts. I will never turn down a free machine, but sometimes they are given away because the owner thinks they are a total loss. In this case the owners son just wants to know someone is using his mother's machine. He even gave me permission to sell her if I could find a way to restore her. If anyone is interested, please PM me.

MacyBaby is 100% correct. This is a 201-2 (Gear drive, no belts)

The 201-2 is like the Jeep of Singer domestic machines, It will roll over anything you can feed under it
