I was able to secure , for personal use, a 1900 HC from England last year and paid a little over $100 shipping included. I also purchased a knockoff for under $20. The knockoff while acceptable was no where near the quality of the OEM unit.
I would think that under the circumstances buying a Chinese HC will suffice ,but, there is no substitution for the originals.
