How does it sew? My VS2 is an early version and sews extremely well. Additionally it does free motion embroidery really nicely.

that machine is in Beautiful Shape. Very nice. in the picture of the shuttle .... there is a "Black hole" just to the lower left of the shuttle. There should be a piece of felt in there, its purpose it to oil the shuttle. take a pin and pull the felt out and make sure the little hole to the shuttle "race" area is clear, put the felt in and saturate it with sewing machine oil, this goes a LONG way in preventing worn out shuttles. it is really a tiny hole and keeps just the barest amount of oil on the surface of the shuttle ... it should prevent metal to metal contact and any wear from occurring.
