There's one on craig's list this morning, and I really am trying to be good. Does it do a zig-zag? This one is in a cabinet, but I think it would go in a case here, 'cause the little black singer cabinets are taking over the house.

I have to tell you all that this is my favorite sewing machine. I use it for all my piecing and FMQ. I love it! I still use my computerized machine for embroidery and applique but everything else is done on Pinky. She just got back from getting her check up and performs beautifully. I posted pictures of the quilt and owl I made on the sticky but here she is in her sewing desk with the quilt.

This is an old thread, but I thought I'd revive it and show the blue version of the same machine. I just picked this up yesterday from a local thrift store for $7.00. It needs a god cleaning, but is in nice shape otherwise.

I still love my Pinky and you will absolutely love sewing with your blue machine! What a workhorse! I bought a Babylock with all the whips and jingles a few months back but I still use Pinky for all my piecing and quilting. Congratulations! I'd buy another Morse straight stitch without hesitation.

Debbie. Perfect name for a machine from the 50s. Love the color and her lines.

I wouldn't have been able to resist it either! Congrats. It's a great find.

The same model also came in green. I need to keep my eyes open for the other sisters now ;-)
