I have been looking for one of those --- there is one on craigslist here in our area --- offered to trade her a featherweight for it since I have two of those --- no response --- will keep looking --- they want $275 for theirs!

I bought my 301A on Ebay a number of years ago and it is a dream to sew on, and is very heavy duty! I have a trapazoid case also, very nice. I didn't get a manual with it so went to Singer sewing machines online and found a site and downloaded it. COmes in handy when I want to oil and lube it, can never remember all the lubrication spots. Enjoy your new toy!

I found a 301A at a garage sale and shes in great shape, came in a cabinet, i asked the lady how much and she said make an offer, i said how about $20.00 and she said ok, haven't had a chance to play with her, I couldn't believe she agreed on that price, she said the machine belonged to her mom (original owner)and wanted to get rid of it, i told her i was surprised she wanted to get rid of it, she said she had her own machine and didn't want this one.
