Please help
Can Jim or anyone help me. I have a Domestic Delux sewing Machine from the 50's
with no manual with it. It is a model 1366 (KAB_M). Sews great, but I cannot figure how to
make it zig zag. Any suggestions please. Thanks and love this site. Will post a picture of the 1935 Singer we salvaged soon as I can figure out how to post it. I love the way it sews!
Going to go look at the sewing machine I grew up sewing on soon. It is an old Singer treadle
that was in the house when it burned down and I just found out it is sitting in my nieces's basement
HMMM wonder what it will look like?

I can try to help but I'll need a clear set of pics of the front, top and back of the machine. Especially the controls.
But first I'd suggest popping the top off and oiling anything that remotely looks like it should move, then gently turn and move every control while you watch what it does.
I still don't have a manual for my Alden machine and that's pretty much how I figured out how it works.
If the old Singer treadle is fixable I'll try to help on that if I can. I'm a sentimental old fuddy duddy and family artifacts mean a lot to me.

These folks appear to have the manual:
