Rodney, I was very surprised at how it all cleaned. That case was horrible - be glad you can't smell it from the picture.
We used Dawn and borax with a tooth brush on the case. Inside wasn't as dirty but Mom cleaned it anyway.
The feed dogs only go up and down, they are not moving front to back
Maybe it is stuck at 0 but that knob turns. The rod moves behind the knob but I'm thinking the rocker below isn't rocking and rolling.

Yup. I've seen pretty machines that must have been flawed from the factory. I don't know what all is wron g with this yet. It still has to get parts to turn. Time out.

I can simply agree with others, a very nice cleaning job. I would just give it every joint and gear an extra drop or three of oil, turn the mechanism a bit an let it seep in over night and see what happens. I've had machines soaking for up to four days before they ran smootly again, and I oiled at least twice a day. Those doube action turn and press in knobs are often the worst to pick appart, clean and oil. Are gears all metal?
