Yes, thanks, tate_elliott. Now I have a manual for my pink Brother. And I joined a new sewing machine group. :-)

Wow! You were so lucky to get an Atlas for that price! I have an Atlas and it's one of my favorite machines. In fact, after using my Atlas, I then started collecting vintage Japanese clone sewing machines. They come in all kinds of yummy colors. I still love my old black/decaled machines but I REALLY love my clones.

MadCow333, Glad you were able to get the manual also. I am considering joining the yahoo group but not sure whether I need something else to "enable" me to spend more time on my computer. Still, I do know that you can get a wealth of knowledge from these specific groups so maybe .............

cabbagepatchkid: Yes, I was lucky to get that Atlas for that price especially since it came from the original owner's son. Except of course that I was hoping that the seller would not accept my offer because as I have said too many times, I really did not need another machine!!! Ha! But I am thrilled to have her now. Like you, the colors of these machines attract me too but I also want them to work. Tate got me started in that direction so now it's just a belt and I should be good to go. Enjoy your machine!
