Nothing was rerchromed or replated on this machine. The original plating was just cleaned and polished.

You call that a "301 combination table". I've never seen a bentwood case mounted in a table like that. Is 301 the designation of the table? Obviously the class 301 machines came much later than 1934.

301 was the model number for the table. It has nothing to do with Singer 301 or 301a sewing machines. Here is a link to the ISMACS page on the No. 301 table.

Yes, that's a No. 49 table.
