Congratulations! I have my Grandmother's 15-91, I learned to sew on it. Still love that machine. Is your's in a case or in a table?

Mine is in a cabinet that is damaged and missing a drawer.

Oh wow, if you got a 15 for free, do a happy dance! They are an awesome machine! Just awesome. I have seven machines and my 15 is what I use most!

I just found out yesterday the machine I inherited from my DMIL is a 15-91. It has a scroll face plate as opposed to striated but haven't found out if that increases the value or not. It's a sweetheart machine and for 47 yrs, I was the only other person allowed to sew on it. Mine is in a cabinet.

You will sooooo enjoy using it. Man, FREE is soooo good.
