You got a GREAT deal, even needing the attachments. I paid $175 for mine (see my avatar) in the exact same cabinet. Mine had been gone over (new belt, cleaned and oiled, etc) and has some attachments. Most of the ones I found when I was looking for her were in the $300 range. A lot of them were in not so great condition. Look up her serial number (Charlee will know the website) so you can know when she was "born". Mine was born in 1917 and I named her after my Grandmother, Emma Elizabeth, who had one just like mine. I know you're just going to love her as much as I love mine. Congrats on your wonderful find!!

Thanks all! Mizkaki looked up the serial number for me and it was one of 25,000 "sent" to the factory floor on February 18, 1914. I don't know how fast they would have produced them or if that number was closer to the front or back of that batch of numbers. I've decided to name her "Page" which was my grandmother's maiden name. Unfortunately, my grandmother's treadle wasn't kept by the family - they just didn't know how valuable she would be to me! Thanks again! I'm so tickled!!!

But are they SELLING for that price??
