I agree, I would do the OBO. But know you may pay up to $50. Good luck!

Ok - for inquiring minds! Yep -- It's mine now! It's a 99k serial no. AD218203. I gave her $40 for it - she was very happy to accept the $40. It's going to need a new cord, but I threaded it up and it stitched a real nice seam by turning the wheel. I found a surprise in the lid - an older oil can than the one that the lady showed me in the base. I know what most of the parts are - but I'd sure like to know what that extra black part is (near the old empty wooden spool and the knee lever. It 'appeared' when I removed the plug from the machine - I think it was just sitting in there though, not attached to anything. I love the accessories - it came with a tucker and I just bought one one eBay last week!

New, worthy of a name machine

another shot - nifty accessories and an old oil can (yes, it has the key!)

What is that black part near the wooden spool??
