An Eldridge two spool is on my list too but probably not one I will get to check off anytime soon. I never see them...except in other people's collections.

Great find! I have an Eldredge Two Spools and a National Two Spools! They look identical except for the name! You will really enjoy that machine once you get used to using it! The Two Spools is great for piecing - the vintage foot is a perfect 1/4" and the feed dogs are exactly the same length . . . . so no pulling of the fabric to the side . . . straight seams!

What a beauty. May the two of you enjoy many years together.

What a nice machine. I have not even seen one in person. This machine has been on my "want" list for a while now. I see many hours of happy sewing in your future!

I've looked and looked to no avail! Maybe one day I'll find one. Congrats on your wonderful find!

I have finished scanning my Eldredge Two Spool manual for Chaz. It is 25 PDF pages and I will send it via Email, PM me if you want one. There are 2 interesting things I learned while scanning the manual. The cost of a complete spool case was $5.00 way back when and the Two Spool came as an electric machine also.

I think some of the earlier Western Electric machines were two spools. Did Eldredge also make an "electric" machine with two spools?

I have a National and an Eldredge two spool model, and both say that they are made by the National sewing machine co. in Ill. From what I've seen the Western Electric, National and the Eldredge all have the same decals on them.

how do you find out what they are worth and when it was made? My neighbor bought one at a auction cause no one bid on it. I have no idea what he paid but he wants to sell it but has no idea what it is worth.
