You will have so much fun sewing with this little machine. I have two 1935 & 1937 and love doing my blocks on them. I have actually made a couple of quilts on them including the quilting, straight line of course. Big Question - where did you get your certificate? That is so neat.

You can go on mysingerstory.com and put in your name, e-mail address, and the serial number of your Singer and get a printable certificate stating that YOUR NAME own a Singer SERIAL NUMBER made in XXXXYEAR. They are neat to have. I have one for each of my Singers but the celery one made in the late 1960-70 period. There was a fire and those serial numbers were lost.
