I am organizing a Featherweight sewing day in May for quilters in our area that own Featherweights. Last May, I organized a clean and maintain your Featherweight Day and it was a huge success.... We were 25 participants. But many have not used their featherweights since (including me). So I thought I'd organize a "Sew with your Featherweight" day. Most of these quilters are experienced and have made many of the standard type of projects (ie Trip around the world etc).
Can you help me by suggesting some small "Featherweight Friendly" workshop ideas with links etc. Or if you are on Pinterest and see a great Featherweight class idea, will you pin it and label it Featherweight idea. I'll be searching Pinterest over the next few weeks for fun, unique and irresistable options. Thanks everyone. |
How about a cover for the extension that flips up, to protect it from the thumb screw on the face? I made one with a mini dresden plate design.

This sounds like a lot of fun.
