What nice boys you have! Enjoy your machine. I love the information in the CD by Dave McCallum.
They probably knew you would appreciate a good machine and would know how to take good care of it. Sounds like you raised some good sons.
Isn't a FW just dandy to sew with? I love mine. "Freddi" just fit in with my vintage group so nicely.
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy,....you also get educated about them along the way :)
Wheres the pic?

Picture? Oh let us see her please.

Awwww isn't that nice. I know the feeling. My daughter gifted me with one from 1936 (my birth year) last Mother's Day. Don't you just love your kids?
Have a wonderful time..Featherweights are worth their weight in gold. My 1936 always bailes me out when the newbies
crash. Congratulations! |
I'm thinking I need to navigate this learning curve. I've no idea how to downsize photos so this forum will accept them. Maybe a photobucket account?
Anyway, I finished piecing a quilt top yesterday with the FW from my boys. Then boldly quilted a baby quilt I already had sandwiched. In love, she has earned a name and its Bettina. No provenance, it just came to me while stitching away. Like to think her former owner would recognize that name, not to get spooky but its a nice thought. |
