We found this beautiful machine on Craig'List in Pensacola. That was close enough to go get it. It is a 1914 15-30. She sewed when we brought her home. The cabinet top had a lot of damage. While DH worked on the cabinet, I took the machine apart and cleaned her. She sews even better now. As soon as the cabinet is ready I'll put her back in it and learn to treadle. |
Wonderful! You are in for some great times with your new sewing machine. Those are my favorite decals - Tiffany/Gingerbread. Please post a picture once it is back in its base.

Oh, isn't she pretty? ..... congrats on such a wonderful find.

Oh it looks like it was loved and used a lot! Awesome find! :D

Isn't it fun to find our treasures? :) I'm still looking for a machine with the Tiffany decals...I think they're so pretty! :) Congrats!

Congratulations on the wonderful find. She sure is a beauty.

The #66 in my parlor cabinet has the tiffany decals. I think they are just the most beautiful ones that Singer produced. Do have fun with your new treasure and learning to treadle. It is good exercise.

How special! You are going to have lots of fun using her.
I have discovered a new (to me)website that gives monthly tips on the cleaning, maintenance and restoring our 'finds'. Nova tells what to use to clean and to shine these machines. She is very knowledgeable and you might like to visit her site. nova's featherweights.com If this doesn't work Google Nova Montgomery Featherweights. Enjoy your new find. |
Never saw one just like this - very pretty!
