Wonder if is rusted on. Taking the screw out normally gets them off. Maybe a little spray. Evaporust does the trick. I haven't used it yet but I'm sure I eventually will.

FYI, OSMG says he has the Morse ZZ plates we need. I will be picking them up for sure on Monday. |

A different view of the needle clamp with the curly q thingys. If I can't remove it I will likely put some Evaporust in a jar and fit it under and up over the needle clamp assembly.
