Glenn,
Beautiful quilt and most bedworthy as one of the previous posters said. |
I've been catching up this morning.... computer has been in repair and I haven't been able to see what all of you have been doing.
Nancy, the quilt you made for your FIL is wonderful and such a nice tribute. It is so hard to work on a quilt when you know the recipient is leaving us soon. I did that when my brother was dying and was able to put his quilt up for him to see 2 days before he died. I cried every time I worked on that quilt and when I visit my SIL, I still have a hard time when I see it. She has it hanging on the living room wall so I can't avoid it even when I want to. Glen, your potholder quilt is really cute.... and I agree.... it needs to be on a bed. You did a really great job.... fun to see it. |
So nice to see some new quilts.
Nancy, I'm so glad your FIL was able to see his quilt before he passed. Glen, your potholder quilt suits your lifestyle. Thank you for the history lesson. |

The black outline around the bunnies really set them off. An extra special quilt.

My little Singer 301 has been busy again. The Spicy Spiral in dark batiks for my oldest daughter's b'day was sewn on a 50s clone and quilted on the 301. The coral and purple scrappy was 301 all the way.

I don't think I have seen one like it before. |
