The case that is shown with this machine is for one of the earlier machines, possibly 1933. Its in very good condition,
but it isn't worth that much! I've paid as little as $100 for a FW in this condition. Lots of sellers seem to think because its old its worth a fortune. PULEEZE!!! |
I misunderstood the case to be a newer one but it appears to be the original.

Gee, I hope he gets what he wants for it for that would make the ones we have more valuable. Sometimes, just because someone paid a big price for something makes it more valuable to them. Wouldn't e just love to have the money to brag that we paid $1,000.00 for a FW? :)

This person knows that suckers are born every day and he is hoping to find one....soon! The price is ridiculous!

That is way out of line. The only singer Featherweigth that can cost as high as $3000 is a "freearm" I think that is what it is called.. Anyway part of the base comes off so that you can sew a pant leg or a sleeve from a shirt. These machines are very rare. If you can find one that has a 110 hook-up then it cost more because they were usually made with a 220.
