All cleaned up! I just love her! Going another estate sale this weekend. Hope to find another treasure.

She's gorgeous! Is there anything noteworthy or unusual in the manual? I didn't get a manual with my pink Brother, which looks to be the same machine in a different color.

The top button on the left hand side. You release the attached lever and the button pops up and then you can press it down incrementally...I would really love to have the page in your manual that covers that.
Gorgeous machine.

I think that button is pressure foot pressure. I have a similar arrangement on my japanese-built Kenmore

Skyangel is correct. The button applies pressure to the presser foot --less for heavy thick seams, more for delicate fabrics. Oh MY! That turquoise is so pretty I could just eat it up!
