Congrats! The spool can that came with your machine head is worth much, much more than the $60 you paid for both machines.

Sweet deal! Congrats on the Two Spools!
The Two Spools takes a standard needle, 15x1.

To treadle that machine, you will need a cabinet. Finding the right National or Eldredge cabinet for a Two Spools can be a bit difficult. The machine head only fits into a certain cabinet top.

I once had my Two Spools in a Singer straight-leg treadle with the cabinet having an modification. Here is the link to that simple job: http://color-my-world-with-warmth.bl...two-heads.html

Thanks for the confirmation that having all the necessary parts made the deal well worth the $.

The Mason seems like it might be a hand crank or at least can be used as one. So another plus, as I was hoping to find one somewhere along the way.

Also discovered that there is one of the hinges for the base on the Two Spools.
