You are going to LOVE sewing on that treadle!! I just got my 1917 Singer Model 66 "Red Eye" and I can't believe the way it sews. I also have a 1949 Featherweight, and a 1962 Touch and Sew, as well as two newer computerized machines with lots of stitches and embroidery. For piecing nice straight accurate lines, you can't beat the "old girls". Have fun with your new beauties!!

http://www.sandman-collectibles.com/...r-machines.htm is a real good site to id Singer sewing machines. Just follow the steps where it says "If your machine has this, click here". I have a 1903 Singer model 27 treadle that I just love.

there is a website that a guy has that deals only in antique sewing machine parts etc. can't remember the name but if you google old sewing machine parts or something along that line you should be able to find the website, he could possibly tell you the types of needles etc that you need. hope this helps.
