Their ancestors apparently cherished this Singer enough to bring it all the way from Italy and this person is selling it to make room in their basement??? I bet there is an ancestor or two rolling in their grave over this statement. Does anyone watch NCIS? Where Gibbs sometimes gives a team mate a tap on the back of the head???? Well.......... :) |

Is that a serial number I see there, B759655? Hmmmm, according to my calculations. . . . . . . . . .I could be wrong.

Well, here is a new take on the giggles what are they smoking... This is a pic of my latest 'find'
Last night my DD wanted to go to the thrift store - she had a half off after Christmas coupon burning a hole in her pocket... I arrived there first so I took a quick look around. I spied a little pink sewing machine - incredible price of 10 cents and then half off... The big girls looked at it and walked off snickering... Miss Lovie wanted to know what I was going to do with that??? It was derelict looking - the string wouldn't go back into the little machine. I threw it in the cart and figured - hot glue would fix it enough for what I was going to do with it. Then Wilbur wanted to ride in Grandma's cart... He sat down and patiently fixed the machine. He got the string wound back around inside it. He was so proud. He thinks that is what you do with a sewing machine - fix it. Anyway I think it will look real nice under my little pink Christmas tree. My 5 cent sewing machine: |
Sew Cute, Miriam. I don't think I would have passed on it either. LOL

Miriam,
You and your grands give me so many warm fuzzy, happy, cheerful, delightful, laughable moments than you can imagine. Thanks. Donna |
Whoo, this one is a doozy. I'd like to think they dropped a decimal, but likely not. I do like the decal, though.

I have a Phoenix with cams. Very nice German made machine. Put it this way it is NOT for sale from my personal herd. However if someone were to match that price I might reconsider.
