How did I figure this out? I helped a neighbor rearrange her furniture yesterday; she had a beautiful Queen Anne end table that--surprise!!--had a 66 in it. She knew it was there, but didn't know anything about it beyond it being "some old black Singer." She bought years ago it for the table and didn't know that the head would come out. (I took it out for her so that she could move the table herself.) She was fairly astounded that A: I was interested in the head, and B: I knew what it was. I'll bet that's what's going on with the sellers, too.

That seller is in Canada. Must be $10,000 in Canadian money translates to $100 in USA money! ;~))

I have a girlfriend with a really nice table that she used for years to hold her tv. I told her that it was a sewing machine cabinet so she pulled it our and it's a 15-91 from 1936. She's excited and wants me to clean it up for her. I said yes but only if she uses it. She has boys in Scouts so it probably will see some use. ~ Chris
