I'm tinkering with a vintage Pfaff - I can see some good engineering and some room for improvement - I don't think plastic is an improvement however - I can see that the Pfaff 260 can do about what my Singer 401 can do - it's a tank - I wish I had a manual. |
One of the best machines I ever used was a Pfaff from about 1955-1960. I was not allowed to touch the tension. And my aunt's Elna was a beast.
