I have a 1948 Featherweight that was also doing this. There is a Featherweight Yahoo group that I joined to learn everything about mine. You can also search differant topics to read what had been previously asked and posted. Hope this helps.
Judy
What did you do with your machine Judy? Did you have it rewired? Thanks for the lead re: the yahoo groups!
Marilyn, I sent you a Private Message, Judy |

I cannot seem to find this anywhere. I've looked at Ace, Walmart, Target, Lowes, Home Depot, Kmart and even in the cleaning section of Office stores. Where are you all finding this stuff? Q2: Which Scott's product is it actually? I've seen SLG furniture polish and SLG cleaner. Two different things. ???? |

If you're looking for the Scott's Liquid Gold, it's in a can, not a bottle, with a tall snap-on plastic cap. It looks just like a spray can. I didn't realize it was the "pourable" kind until I took it off the shelf at Lowe's and looked at it. Maybe others are mistaking it for "sprayable", too. Happy Quilting!
