I have a 1920 Red Eye that I would like (hubby) to take the motor off and put on a hand crank. Is that a hard job? Kathie

I offered $30 because it doesn't have a bobbin case |
You know I'm beginning to think buying a sewing machine for cheap isn't always wonderful. Sometimes there are surprises. You may have to fix something or pay someone to fix it. You may have to buy parts if you can find them. You may have to clean up a mess. You may have to buy a bobbin case, accessories, disks, cords or what have you. By the time you do all that work it may just be more practical to just spend a bit more and get one in good shape to start with.

If you're looking for back clamping attachments for your 66-1 or 66-3, there's a set on ebay that's almost complete!
