ThayerRags, love the hand crank!

Nancy

Me, too!! It's just plain lovely!! Do you use it??

Are you talking about the treadle wheel? If you are missing the pitman, the skirt guard, and the treadle wheel, I think you just need to find an old treadle base! Then between the two of them, put together a complete treadle!

Nancy, I have the skirt guard, I need the bolts to bolt it to the irons as well as the treadle wheel. Kathie

According to this board I have the 66 and 2-that are 127.
I have gotten both 127's working, but the 66 isn't picking up the bobbin and I don't have instructions for it.

check out my tutorial on skipped stitches. There is a video on there for timing. BUT don't fool with the timing until you tried everything else. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-147275-1.htm

Unfortunately, some of these grand ladies have not been treated as well. Note that some have been found in barns and on porches.

That is cute! I recently put hand cranks on two older Singers - I didn't realize how fast they could go! People always wonder about guiding the material (I wondered myself) but it really wasn't a problem. Was it hard putting the hand crank on a machine without a spoke wheel?
