Haven't read all the replys, but have you been the QB thread on vintage antique machines?
http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...thusiasts-f22/ As far as vintage and antique it depends on the age and the item. I had heard once it has to be at least 100 years old for furniture to be antique-and 50 years for vintage, but much less for clothing I think. |
That medallion is way cool. I wish my hubby would search out treasures for me!

alright...here are photos of the machines I picked up from the museum collection last night. :) Haven't started researching to see what all I have, I just grabbed a variety of heads that I didn't have and tried to not duplicate anything. If y'all know anything about them feel free to speak up!

ok I'll give you 2 66's , a 15-91 and a 6 pack for the 61w. recently I have gotten a 61w156, then for parts a 61w52
only difference I can see is there long bed and short bed industrail version 's. There porn to hook and bobbin case wear and a link rod that works the take up arm breaking, Today I just found out , there are aftermarket parts for almost all singer industrails |
Jenn, about all I can tell you is that the Damascus is circa 1920, and the 1895 Singer 28 has "Victorian" decals...
Nice haul! :) |
