Very cool cabinet.

Billy is that what this machine is -- a domestic?

It is a fiddle base Domestic. I looked it up awhile ago it was made somewhere in the late 1800's early 1900's I think.

I will have to look it all up agian.

Ok, just looking up some information on a pfaff treadle I saw a note that "Domestic" was bought out by Pfaff way back when.

Billy do you know anything about this Domestic?

Billy I'd love to see those machines and I went to http://wholelottasinger.wordpress.com/ and after that site came up I googled for Marcelli blog -- couldn't find anything on the Pfaff Treadles?

What did I do wrong?

Billy do you have one? I wonder if they are as colorful as the Singer Treadles?

I would love to find one too as Pfaff has always been my favorite machine! I have to admit, though, that I am becoming VERY partial to my vintage Singers!

Nancy

I have a Pfaff 31 treadle. Very plain decals. I've sewn on it, but not totally happy with the tension yet.

No I have never seen one, but if I go by what I know about Pfaff and how I like them then know I'd love one of Pfaff's tredle's

I need some help with this treadle I picked up yesterday at a garage sale. I'm getting excited by some of the info I'm digging up and my luck just doesn't run that way!

It's a Wheeler & Wilson D-9. Serial number is 2538191. What I'm seeing so far is that it dates somewhere between 1887-1905. There are no markings/decals on it at all(except the gold medalian on the bed)-in fact, it looks as if someone painted it flat black because I think I see brush streaks.

If anyone could help or point me to a good site for info, would really appreciate it.

I'll post some pics if I can. Not great pics and even worse photographer!

looks like just the plate where the bobbin drops into.
Plus the ad said red eye, I dont know much about singers but was the red eye still using the shuttle bobbins

That is not a bobbin case -- that part is something that the bobbin case goes into to turn on -- the hook/race or something like that. Anyway, it is not a bobin case.

Actually that type of machine has the drop in bobbin but I was referring to the price of $125 for it!! That is wrong in so many ways.....
