Since many of us are shipping our precious machines I thought that I would share this site that not only has a lot of information about vintage machines but also several very excellent tutorials on how to pack a machine for shipping. On the home page scroll down to the packing box and click on it. He has a wealth of information to share. Darcene |

I'm working on my New Home NLB freebie machine, have gotten it up and running and stitching a pretty nice even stitch. I found out that this machine takes a different needle-- CC1221. Some websites and blogs discussing these machines say that one can also use a 206x13 needle. I will also need bobbins. Does anyone know where I can get the needles and bobbins at a reasonable price?

I gave her my Pfaff 1222E a few years ago because it was much more modern than her 130. She tried it a couple times and went back to the 130. She said it was like an old friend. Great machine! There are several 130's on e-bay right now -- no treadles, and the bids are ranging from $65 up. I'd offer the $100, that is a good solid bid, and see if he accepts. Do you know the year the machine was made? I might be able to help with that. Good luck. Nancy |

That's what I paid for my machine w/no cabinet. So I'd go for it.
