(It also has Simanco 33681 underneath, with perhaps another digit below that, which looks like a 7)
As an aside, I was delighted to see that it has some of the attachments that my FW didn't come with. Will they fit, does anyone know? Many thanks. For everyone wanting to look up these things, you start at this site:http://singerco.com/support/serial_numbers.html |
But how can it be vintage, when it's younger than I am???

Sadly, it's younger than me too - I thought the 'official' way of labelling these things is that over 100 years is Antique, and between 100 years and 40 years is Vintage.

Singer 301A with case and looks like some basic attachments. They are asking $100. What you all think of that price?

Glenn,
It's really great that you have a complete set of attachments. I acquired a box full of various feet and "do dads" a couple of weeks ago and have no idea what many of them are for. Would you be willing to post some pictures of your set and let us know what they are used for? I was hoping to do some investigating but I haven't had the time. Started a new quilt (NY beauty - paper peiced) and it's taking all my extra time : ) Judy |
