That article about Webster on ISMACS refers to a letter written in the 1850's, and the Webster talked about in that letter probably bears little relation to the Webster name that is on these modern machines. |
I just got two sewing machines back from my x. One is a Webster 15-91 clone! I will post pix as soon as I figure out how....

Your Webster machine is a post WW II badged HA-1 / 15 clone. It is an original electric machine. I uses Class 15 bobbins and 15x1 needles. With a good cleaning and oiling, a proper belt and some repair to the case it should sew really nice stitches. Joe |

This looks exactly like the one I have! I know nothing about it. It was my fiance's mother's machine. Any info you can provide would be awesome!
