Thanks everyone! Steve you had me going there for a minute! Thanks Lew she's a keeper, poor baby.

Thanks for all of the tooth well wishes I appreciate them. Tooth will be gone next Thurs with a bone graft implanted right after they pull the tooth. CAN WE SAY V*I*C*O*D*I*N

When I looked at snake girl sewing machine I counted about a dozen from the front within eye sight and told her I just couldn't get past them. Sorry. Here is a close up of the snakes I snagged from the internet. It is a beautiful machine but just wish it were not snakes and they were all OVER IT.!

I have one and like the scarab beetles. Never really noticed the asps, but would have if I'd ever gotten around to cleaning it. Country girl- no fear of snakes, since there aren't many venomous ones in NY. Sounds like you had one heck of a day.

I don't think I could have stood having all those snake decals all over the machine -- I would probably never have used the machine!

I'm a country gal (I won't say "A little country girl."), but I come from the part of the country where rattlesnakes are all too common, as well as coral snakes and water moccasins -- One of our little dogs was bitten by a rattler right in our yard, and it cost us almost $1,000.00 for her treatment. Antivenin was $375 a pop back then (2003).

Poor little girl. My heart just ached reading that.

Wanted to say how much I enjoy your writing. I love stories. And congratulations on your new treasures.
I like snakes, would have rejoiced to find that machine.

I just looked up a picture and they do have beetles (scarabs) and snakes (not many) as part of the decoration. So if you don't like snakes, I would stay away from this machine in the future.

I can handle the snakes - but that beetle gives me the creeps!
