Default Question about manuals, service manuals, etc

    Hi Everyone,
I'm usually able to find the things I need, but I was wondering if anyone knows about "singerco.com" and "parts.singerco.com," which I often find referenced as places to download manuals etc. These links don't seem to work any longer.
Does anyone know where I might get a copy of a Singer 319W service/adjusters manual?
    Thanks!

    Matt

I don't have a specific answer for you. I suppose you have searched for a the manuals you want with "319" without the "W".

Many of the vintage sewing machine groups have manuals in their files. There are groups on Facebook (I don't do facebook, so can't give you specifics.) Most of the old Yahoo groups have moved to groups.io. Try the "wefixit" group at groups.io. You have to join groups.io, then join the groups that interests you. There is/was a singerslantsewing group that might interest you. There was also a Singer sewing group, but I'm not sure they still exist.

Many group users have moved to Facebook, so many groups have kind of faded away.

I think it was a couple years ago the singerco.com went bye, bye. It was a good resource.

I believe some of the the manuals listed on ismac.net are no longer valid, either. For some manuals a good resource is manualslib.com and I think that sometimes they have service manuals or sometimes called adjuster's manuals. There is service manual for 319 on ebay.

The vintage Singer sewing yahoo group moved to io groups over a year ago.

For manuals, I have only been disappointed once by Manualslib.com. So, it's usually my go to.

Singer.com appears to have a manual for a 319 and 319K. I don't know if this is what you are looking for. I couldn't open the manual and didn't feel like downloading it to my computer to see what was in it.

Okay, I got it to open and it mentions a 319W. Here's the link https://www.singer.com/search/support?title=319

Singerco.com is gone, but you cn still access the information via the "wayback machine":

    http://web.archive.org/web/201908220.../IPsvcManuals/

306w25 is the service manual for the 319.

The 319 grew out of the 306, so most of the manual applies. It has information specific to the 319 variant starting on page 103....

Check out what you can find on the Wayback Machine for web sites that seem to have gone bye-bye. They take "snapshots" of web sites over time and sometimes you can find things in a past "snapshot" of a web site that isn't available on a site anymore or for a site that doesn't even exist anymore. Regards... Megan
