Default Question on Franklin Treadle Accessories

Does anyone know if accessories and feet for a Franklin Rotary sewing machine will work on a Franklin Treadle (modeled after the Singer 27 treadle)? Info is greatly appreciated.

I recently acquired a Franklin Treadle and have the opportunity to buy the accessories to the Franklin Rotary. The treadle did not come with any accessories.

    Thank you in advance!

From the pictures I saw, the Franklin VS machine was made to take side clamp feet (like Singer) but the Franklin rotary is just like White (who made them) and takes top clamp feet. In that case - no, they will not fit.

If you have pictures and they are in fact both side clamp, than the feet will fit but the underbraider and shirr plate will not. Most Top Clamp feet are manufacture specific, so feet that fit a White made VS machine will also fit a White made rotary machine, but they will not fit a machine made by someone else.

Most Side clamp feet are specific based on the shank - so short shank feet will fit any machine designed to take short shank feet.

Thank you so much for the info. You just saved me from buying something I couldn't use.

Well, until you get another machine to match them... wink.
